The photo book “Just the two of us“ by Austrian photographer Klaus Pichler is a special item: it is folded in accordion format, also known as ‘Leporello’. The core of the book is glued to a strip of 6,40 meters length and the folded to the final format. The glueing of the 7 different parts of the core and also the connection between core and cover were done by hand – making it an impressive 3500 glued areas (plus the covers) for the book circulation of 500 copies. The cover was decorated with a hot foil stamped logo.
Used techniques and materials: full color offset printing on Munken Polar White 150g for the core, Modulor 400g black cardboard for the cover, handmade glueing, hot foil stamping.
